what a pointless and mundane entry.
okay time to break out from the hibernation and blog!

i broke my promise.
no motivation to do any photoshopping so the layout of the blog will have to wait. the idea is all in my mind now but i just cannot bring myself to get started on it.
my room is in a friggin mess after the bulk of the exams but the hardworking streak in me went on strike and i haven't been able to convince it to make me wanna clear my room again.
SIGH.
ANYWAY. on with the interesting stuff.
i went to the FHA 2006!
The 15th international food & drinks, hotel, restaurant, bakery & foodservice equipment, supplies and services exhibition and conference with FHA culinary challenge.
PHEW. what a long name.
"big deal!" you say.
haha. that's cause you don't know the scale of this exhibition.
they booked the WHOLE expo and only trade professionals can attend.
strictly not for public okay.
and they charge a exorbitant amount of 80 bucks per entry.
tsk. i don't know how come they are able to at first, but after explanation from my manager, i realised it's because this is the only exhibition whereby everything will be under one roof, from machineries to raw ingredients, and people can compare the prices there and then, without running everywhere.
and i am a trade professional okay. restaurant management! ahahaha.
was like a mountain tortoise taking in all the interesting machines and raw materials. "ohh"-ing and "ahh"-ing all the way.
saw the tall kind of fondue fountain he told me about.
i always thought he was exaggerating, until i saw it, with chocolate flowing out of it no less.
plus the machine that makes gelato, samples of the kind of ice cream which is casted in the fruit itself,
rare seafood like the humongous king crabs, and alot of other things la.
i am lazy to blog it all out.
but it's been a real eye opener and i am so happy that i was working on monday and happened to bump into my boss and manager talking about it.
so i got a complimentary ticket and was able to tag along! :)
anyway that's about all the exciting happening to me, other than alot of buffet lunches/dinners and me gaining weight.
i am very sad, but i have swore to slim down!
my friends are to support me in this. you all will right? heh.
